August Harvest Cocktail // Passionfruit Margarita

Enjoy a refreshing, summer-inspired passionfruit cocktail recipe

Passionfruit is a tangy, round, tropical fruit that grows beautiful on a trellis or pergola. It is a perennial and produces heavily in the summer months. Our vine is only 1-2 years old and this summer we probably harvested 100 passionfruit off it!

With all that fruit, we had to get creative with how to use it. By far, making these margaritas was our favorite. Passionfruit is tangy, sour, sweet, and the seeds can be crunchy. For those who don’t love the sour, I suggest adding a little more agave.

I am hoping to make the harvest cocktails a monthly staple by providing garden-inspired recipes and creative ways to incorporate your harvest into tasty beverages.
